GC2-T unit way off.

My GC2-T unit is acting crazy. For putts, chips, drives, FW and other lower launching shots it is right on track. The higher the launch angle the wackier the lines get. For instance a wedge that I obviously hit straight shows being hit 20 yards left.

Any ideas what the heck is going on?
Could the camera be out of wack somehow?

I've contacted foresight but haven't heard anything back.

To have wedges act correctly the unit has to be angled like \

Is it spin sending the ball left or ball path? Not what you see with your eyes but what the software says it's receiving from the unit...

Try the recalibration software. Kine was pulling way left too

The gc2-t is supposed to not need calibration. Hmmm.

It's not spin. If I angle the device inward \ to my target line I get straight shots

But only for my wedges when angled. Then driver and lower launching clubs are way right.

The area you're hitting from is exactly (pretty close) center of screen and your shots are hitting the center of screen?

If so, it may sound like you need calibration.

What are your pull/push numbers?

I was wrong. Spin is crazy high. Here's a screenshot of 5 wedges.

Ok so photo sucks. Basic numbers of the 5 shots average:

31 launch -4.4 azimuth 2200L side spin 4777 backspin -17 offline

Yeah, side spin is making that ball go left. That ball is almost spinning at a 45* angle to the ground.

You only pulled it 4.4*.

Could be a calibration issue, but most likely it's a lie angle issue/swing issue. You may not notice when you're on the course that maybe you actually aim way right with wedges.

I only say this b/c it's exactly what I did. My wedges were 4-5* too upright for my "improved" swing.

Also with such low backspin, side spin has a larger effect on amount of curvature.

Well if you can get by without it, I'd do it just to cross that possibility off the list. If it comes back and same thing, get on a lie board. Past that, get with an instructor!
