    Version 4.0.0

So I got my GC2 on Tuesday and noticed that it was version 3.7. I've heard this version was a little off so I went to foresight website to get 3.5 or 3.10. The only version available was 4.0.0. I updated with this but unfortunately don't have anything to compare it to.

Has anyone done any comparisons on the accuracy of 4.0.0 vs 3.5 or 3.10?

Seems this is brand new firmware - are you using TGC?

It's been confirmed elsewhere that this does not break the bluetooth work around...if that's what you're wondering.

I believe the biggest thing is the one sticker for the HMT. Wish they would provide release notes but they don't.

goatbarn. - Yes, that was what I was thinking.

Here's what it says when you download it.

"Includes update for one dot HMT data and new USB driver package for GC2 device."

So nothing that affects the normal GC2 -TGC setup, no reason to upgrade? Seems Foresight is very poor on a lot of information to do with their product.

Correct. It is unknown if it tweak ball flights at all, but I plan on updating just in case. I know it doesn't break TGC integration, so why not.

I to am wondering about the best firmware. I just got my GC2 and it has I think 3.1. It seems off on distance. I am searching for proper set ups.

IMO 3.7 is off. 3.51 has always been good. I have it if you want it. Pm me you email if you want it.

I use the 4.0.0 and everything seems to be good. Distances are spot on. (compared with trackman) Works great with TGC

Don't think I'll be upgrading, mine works beautifully right now and I don't have an HMT... Yet .

I dread the day when they release a software update that somehow blocks TGC.

If they could they would have by now. Likely why the quad has Bluetooth off. Worst case, they do and you don't upgrade the firmware.

Exactly, which is why I'll be checking these forums before doing any updating!
