I spoke with Grant and he said they were pulling 6-7, but they will be back. I have no clue why some courses run smoother than others, but it seems that if there is a lot of scenery, it causes the frame rate to drop. I believe those courses are larger files than some of the others, but I really don't have a problem with Flint Hills. I wonder if that is why they pulled Nine Lakes as it was one of the larger files. Grant said once they re-release the courses a patch will be rolled out for those who already own them.

So I think I'm going to substitute Cor de lane and Dallas national and maybe one other, I was thinking Torrey Pines in San Diego but I'm not sure if it's even still available as I've heard many people have frame rate issues with it too? Any thoughts?

Couer D'Alene is right up there with the best. Several memorable holes...........Highly recommended! Dallas National is cool, but I just don't find myself playing it as often as others. I don't think it translates simulator wise as well as others. It is not alone in this regard as Congressional and Olympic are big name courses that suffer the same fate in my opinion. There are probably 4 or so really cool holes and the rest kind of blend together. All of these run very smooth for me though, which is very important. La Jolla is great, but I would guess they are working on this one since it does at times cause stutter. Butterfield is an awesome layout and has some really cool greens. It is an actual course in Chicago area.
I noticed that Nine Lakes was on the link above, so looks like they are bringing it back at some point.

I think I have 6 of the ones above they are patching. Some I get, some I haven't had trouble with. Unfortunately, I don't think they will send out a mass patch till all courses are back to normal.

Par2Pro has the GC2 with 5 course option for $9,950.00. I bought my GC2 about 3 years ago, and I went through Cory at Par2Pro. Since buying from Cory initially, I have since always gone through Grant. Both are great guys, but I think Grant might be able to do a little more for you in regards to margin. Cory won't make much if you can get it for lower than that price. However, anything related to indoor sim besides foresight software, I would definitely go through Cory.

I have a deposit w grant and it's only 3 courses but future courses only 99. And he did the typical sales pitch of buy now the deal is going away. Then I saw 5 courses and was not happy and would have asked for my deposit back if that were the case

I would contact Grant and tell him about the 5 courses deal. I don't know how much you are getting the package for, but if it is for the $9,950.00 that Cory is offering, I would inquire. He will work with you, but yes he is a sale person no doubt. Since, PG and The Golf Club came about, it seems like Foresight should have interest in moving courses.

It seems like you got a pretty good deal comparatively. That hard steel case is close to $300.00 alone and Foresight's shipping is pretty high because of insurance. That steel case is 3 courses alone with the price you have going forward. Even if you are the greatest golfer in the world, I would still get some protection for the GC2. Bounce back from the screen sometimes hits the unit, especially on high flop shots. Par2Pro is fantastic at everything, but they really can't compete when dealing with Foresight directly due to margin.

Grant had a "deal" going last month for the software. $2500 got you the FSX (play, compete, fitting) software and 5 courses. He said its regularly $3500 (3k for FSX and 500 for additional courses).
Got the case for 100 (regularly 150 - it's the plastic one, not metal) when I got my unit.
