Anyone using this. I'm getting my full sim including GC2 and FSX installed this weekend and now I'm wondering if I should have added the HMT. I really want this for game improvement as well as practice and figured I would get my feet wet with this sim thing before kicking down for the HMT. Currently I'm into it for around 21k and the install this weekend will run me another 2k for a total of 23k.

I think this is a tough call, as while having and knowing this type of data is nice to know if you don't know what it al means and how to fix it could do more harm than good. I don't have HMT, but am able to get both ball and club data I take this info to my teaching pro and work with her to tweak my swing. Sometimes it's a little fix and sometimes it's more. I say save the money and spend it on a good pro and then use your system for practice.

HMT is about club path, face angle, and impact point on the face. I am about a 16 HCP and I think it has been useful to me. Particularly the first time I used it when I found my shots were not all comfortably inside-out at the time. But definitely find a good coach to oversee the necessary form adjustments. GC2 gives you a lot already, soak that in first then you'll know if you need it.

If the money doesn't scare you, buy it. If it does, don't. It's an amazing add on. The only drawbacks are club face stickers and the money. My Courses:
