  • Gc2 vs Trackman

So on the weekend had a titilest demo day at our local range. Decided to try some drivers with different shafts that were there. Came across this shaft that was called a speedster I believe with the 915d2 head. They had a trackman set up so I got set up to hit a few shots. Now I'm use to what my gc2 numbers are with a driver and found the results with the trackman much different. Now my question is. Can you add boost to the trackman also. I was almost calling him a liar because I didn't believe the numbers. And I feel I know my numbers pretty good.

So here are my numbers for gc2 and trackman

    Gc2 with prov1 golf balls

    Distance. 280-300 on carry
    Spin rate. 2200-2500
    Ball speed. 162-168
    Launch angle 11-13

On the trackman with yellow range balls

Distance 295-320 with no roll. 340 with roll
    Spin rate 1700-2100
    Ball speed 169-174 mph
    Launch angle. 11-13
    Swing speed 113-117mph

Now I'm just questioning why trackman was so much higher.

Since I didn't believe the rep I asked if I could use my driver and was getting the same results with what titilest driver results were.

When I got home later that evening I used the gc2 and those were the numbers I posted above So I'm questioning why are the two best launch monitors on the market can be that far out.

I went to my clubs demo day on the weekend and I was testing the Epic with my GC2. I told the guy the spin was too high on the non sub zero and the guy said "your launch monitor isn't very accurate." I said why? He said because Trackman is more money and see them on tour. I didn't bother arguing. I hit on his Trackman and got the exact same numbers then he said let's try the sub zero.
What a nonsense. Price always doesn't correlate with quality or even accuracy. I have a Trackman 4 too but I very much trust and believe in GC's numbers too. They were just so similar.

https://youtu.be/RS9TI-84I-s check this So if you choose distance soft limited flight in software. And using a good quality range ball, and normalize, equals boost length and less spin
