all set but no software

I splurged, borrowed and then some and have a really nice sim setup w gc2, HMT , benQ and have been using the iPad app for a while. I have found the iPad app maddening as the Bluetooth drops constantly on my newer iPad and more than expected on the old one.

I have demoed the fr1 and fsx software and using a fast PC really enjoyed fsx. However, I found myself using the driving range and looking at club data more than playing the basic Teton pines course. I struggled at first with imaging but finally figured out that 4x3 mode worked better for my space.

If money were no object I would buy fsx hands down. But at the quoted price I am having serious heartburn
I may wait to try to find fr1 software used. I gather no way to use TGC and iPad app together.

Any chance TGC will evolve into driving range and courses and dream scenario- possibly use HMT data?

Nope. I would just break down and buy fsx. With the gc2 and HMT it's really powerful software and while overpriced I cant imagine not having it.

I can't speak about forever but TGC will not run with an iPad at the same time. Maybe some day. As for the HMT, they tried for a bit but gave up due to a lack of interest. It also slowed the shot to show time. They didn't get it working. Too much development.
