Just bought it but it crashed straight away, anyone else have issues

Contact Foresight and see if you have the most recent version. 2.2.0.0 I believe is the current version. Your computer specs should definitely not be the problem. I would contact them and ask for a remote login if you have the newest version.

I have, they have been working on it all week and don't have a clue. They blamed the on board graphics card at first but I disabled it. The new version won't open and the older one opens and crashes when the ball lands. They are asking US for help. Wondered if it was nvidea and windows 10 issue

I have a nividia card and Windows 10 and it runs for me no problem.

It's strange, I have nothing else on the computer, I bought it just to run the software. Everything is updated.

I have an i5, 8G, Windows 10, and a Nvidia GeForce 960 and I don't have any crashing issues. When I play it in a higher graphic mode other than performance, the fps definitely slow down. I don't understand how yours is not working since everything you have is higher than my specs. The only thing I could suggest is for them to uninstall everything FSX related on your computer and then reinstall from scratch. Weird!

The only issue I'm having is it keeps wanting to update to version 2.2.0.0. I've already done the update and have the Bluetooth working, weather stuff but for some reason it keeps telling me to update? Very odd. This and the fact that I have to manually log in every time. Waiting to hear back from foresight regarding all of the above. Anyone else have these issues. Software otherwise working fine without crashing. (I7 with 970 card)

Re loaded it 3 times. Apparently the only difference between my machine and theirs is that they use a gaming motherboard

Hi Mozza,

Did you try plugging in some headphones or speakers into the audio jack on the back of the computer? I had a similar problem and that was the solution.

No. A strange solution. The sounds goes down the hdmi lead so obviously never tried. They have my computer now, trying to fix it

I also bought a new computer (HP Envy) to run FSX. Nothing else on it. FSX would crash when loading the driving range, and after the first shot landed in a course. Foresight logged in remotely and tried reinstalling FSX, then resetting the Windows 10 installation. They said it was a computer issue, probably the graphics card. My rep suggested I return the computer and buy a computer from them, or send mine in so they could try to get it to work. Then I ran across a post somewhere where the speaker was the issue. So just for the heck of it I plugged in some headphones and problem solved! True story.

Dang, that should have been one of the first things to check... the internet speed.

That scares me as I just ordered a GC2 and FSX. I live in a rural area and the internet is not all that great only option is DSL. Do they have minimum interntet speeds needed to work? My internet is usually around 3 meg and peaking at 5 meg max. Can I get by with 3?
