  • New to GC2, 2 Questions

    1. I currently own Protee and use TGC with it, is my TGC license transferrable to use with a GC2 for free?

    2. Does TGC take the exact data that GC2 reads to determine ball flight the same FSX or FR1 would, or is some of the data calculated? If so what exactly is calculated and how does this affect ball flight accuracy?

    1. Yes
    2. All ball data is the same in TGC as the screen on the GC2. All club data is calculated.

Will the HMT improve ball flight accuracy, or is just purely to see club head data?

What is the process for connecting GC2 to TGC? Do I have to download a different version of TGC than the one I have from protee?

Also, is club selection required for GC2 when using TGC like it is for Protee? If TGC has me on 9 iron, but I use a sand wedge, will that affect the outcome?

All data from HMT is independent from the Ball Data - only the ball data is used to simulate the ball flight.

Same Version of TGC you just need an interface from Protee that will receive gc2 shot data via bluetooth and send in to TGC

CLub selection in TGC is not relevant for GC2. You can hit whatever club you wanI. Its only real function for gc2 users is how far the scout cam goes out.

Also note that TGC does not support HMT so you will not see the HMT club data on the TGC analysis screen.

It needs to have bluetooth to work with TGC

Every gc2 has bluetooth that works with TGC. Unless it's a beater with a broken Bluetooth in which case it would have to be repaired to work with tgc as js said.

Some older gc2 had a Bluetooth that wouldn't work with apple stuff but that has no effect on using tgc.
