My flash died after about only 4 months use, and I am the only one using it with a friend once in a while. New GC2 unit from Foresight in March.....
How'd you know when your flash is dying?

That is a far cry from the 2 1/2 years that I am on and still under half the flash count in life. I have a ser# in the 2800 range. It's sad that they know the issue with the new units and the old style flash, but they still sell them with the old one and then want you to buy a super flash to replace. But it's also good to know the old units will hold their value well due to this issue.Originally posted by Boo Radley View PostMy flash died after about only 4 months use, and I am the only one using it with a friend once in a while. My GC2 is almost 2 years old and is in the 86XX serial number range.
I ran the tilt calibration utility today, but it didn't make any difference. Everything is starting off straight, but has loads of side spin. Perhaps something has changed in my swing... or I'm swinging in a weird way because I'm indoors. Odd that I hvent been doing that for about 18 months though.
I'll try taking it to the driving range and see if it differs outdoors.

I get right to left spin in doors but not outside. I've brought my GC2 to the range and it says fairly straight outside but right to left inside. I get a lot more side spin with shorter clubs. I chalked it up to be in doors. It ranges from 500-1200rpm in doors.Originally posted by p3eps View PostMy GC2 is almost 2 years old and is in the 86XX serial number range.
