Potential future FSX courses

I'm just inquiring because I want to stick with Foresight/FSX, and see if we can make a push for some courses that are wanted to come to the market. I know the big name courses would cost them a pretty penny, but I would like to get a sense of some well known courses that they could possibly replicate. My wish list would be below, but I'm not sure if they would charge Foresight a boat load of money for licensing fees.

Riviera Country
Muirfield Village Ohio
Peach tree Golf, GA
Valhalla
Southern Hills Country Club

Just a few to start.....................but the bottom line is licensing/proprietary fees.

I am not sure what the FSX base software is because I just did the upgrade from the older software, which wash $995. The newer courses (FSX) can be bought individually and are not sold in packages. The asking price per course varies depending upon who you talk to in sales and how many you purchase at any given time.
I will keep a list of common ones that pop up and forward them to Foresight to give them an idea of what the user base wants. Unfortunately, I think Pebble Beach and St. Andrews are out because they would cost too much to acquire the license. It would be interesting to see if they could give Bay Hill, Shinnecock Hills & Royal Liverpool some nice treatment.

FSX standalone retails at $2999, and the course price retails at $155 each.
There are deals to be had if you buy directly from Foresight though.

$2,999 is a tough pill to swallow for sure! I know the courses retail for that, but I doubt they get anyone to pay that much for one course. I am not going to say what I pay per course, as I have quite a few, but it is well below that and yes you do have to go directly through Foresight.

Bump...................does everyone just use TGC or something else pretty much. As I said I like variety in software, but I would like to see Foresight develop some FSX courses that are big name, but not big bucks for them.

I myself have FSX but only have Teton Pines... Im looking to buy about 4 or 5 more courses but Im going to see if they have any deals at the PGA Show in January. I also plan on asking them about where they are at with potential courses coming down the pipeline. I second sawgrass and st andrews though!. I cant make up my mind right now... I cant imagine how bad it will be if more come out soon!

I can tell you that I am a big fan of Couer D'Alene, Cog Hill, Flint Hills, Hazeltine, Nine Lakes, & La Jolla. You wouldn't regret getting those ones! Those would be in my top ten and I have played quite a few (40+) of the courses. I don't see them getting St. Andrews because of licensing, but a big name course would be enticing! I've got 4 out of the 6 you mention (I don't have Cog Hills or La Jolla), and am very happy with them so far. I haven't played them as much as I'd like, but am hoping to get some more rounds in soon! Cog Hills was next on my list, and I quite fancy Hanauma Cliffs too! I'm trying to buy a couple a month to slowly build up my catalogue.
St Andrews is a big name, but so is Carnoustie - and they still have that. I noticed E6 has Gleneagles.
I played Sawgrass when in Florida 2 months ago, and would love to have it on FSX!

Hanauma Cliffs is awesome!! Fun times with that course. They had Carnoustie already from the old software, just like Celtic Manor, so I believe they already had the rights or don't need the rights. St. Andrews, Augusta, & Pebble Beach cost a pretty penny for licensing from what I understand. La Jolla when it first came out wasn't running so smoothly, but now Foresight has improved it and it runs great. I can say they gave the same treatment to Olympic as well! The courses are all getting better with each update. For some reason, I don't really tend to like links style courses so much when it comes to software.
You would not be disappointed buying Cog and Hanauma Cliffs!! TPC Sawgrass would be a dream come true!
