GC2 vs SkyTrak

Hi all, new forum user and new SkyTrak owner here. First I will say that graduating from a well used OptiShot to the SkyTrak has been like night and day as far as playability and closeness to real world results go. My only gripe now is that real club data would also be useful (not calculated), especially a real smash factor, attack angle and dynamic loft (can the HMT do this?). With the GC2 and HMT how is everyone's experience with the results? I am especially interested in anybody that made the switch from a SkyTrak to a GC2 (and with HMT)? The fact that both support TGC is fantastic (I am just now getting my feet wet with TGC tour play!)

It is all a matter of how much you value the additional data.

Yeah, that's a big jump for the additional data to be sure! I am loving the SkyTrak as it seems to have all the minimums necessary for good game play. But as far as game improvement, I am struggling to know what to focus on (besides everything!). My guess is smash factor will tell me alot about how centered my hit is and attack angle and dynamic loft will help with my hands forward hitting down swing plane desire. Or is ball speed, launch angle and spin enough?

You might check out skypro. it clips to your club and gives you quite a bit of data and skytrak has hinted that it could get integrated in the near future. And you can find them on ebay for under $100.

Not too much more accurate that Gc2 with HMT. Big hit to the wallet.

Thanks - forgot to mention that I did pick-up the SkyPro (which is quite good btw at club data). Only problem is that you have to move it from club to club (re-calibrating each time). Not the best for game play but it's been usable (a club at a time) for attack angle and manually calculated smash factor and and dynamic loft. Once they are integrated - that will be cool!
