TGC & GC2

Just setting up a GC2 simulator. Looking to add software. GC2 firmware is updated to 4.0.015 ... now need to add software last remaining piece to the puzzle. Heard the stories about TGC not being compatible ... but will work if you pay foresight 995$ fee... interesting business plan. Anyway anyone have the link to the instructions, also does anyone know if having firmware 4.0015 cause TGC not to work with GC2?

What kind of information you getting 995.00 is for a lifetime subscription to the software to play through protee, go to JNPG and pay 250 a year to rent. The money is a lot but there service to the software is amazing and anyone who pays the software price has gotten there money out of it and then some, TGC and GC2 are compatible or every one who is on this sight with a GC2 and TGC are imagining it running. I am running 4.0 with no issues to TGC

I've got GC2 and TGC and it's compatible, but hardly reliable. Par2Pro installed it and said sometimes the bluetooth can get glitchy. My last two 18 hole rounds with friends over stopped recording swings at holes 18 & 17, respectively. Leaders were one stroke apart both times. When we restarted, only one player's score appeared. You can guess how that went over.

I'd pay the money for a reliable system with less courses over getting the less expensive hacked version. Just my two cents. I'm still only a couple of months into this, so hopefully this can be fixed, but it's annoying not to have it work when you expect it to.

There's a lot of people here using gc2 with TGC without these issues. Your issues are with Bluetooth, not TGC. TGC needs a super close super good Bluetooth. If your Bluetooth is more than 4 feet away from the GC2, you need to move it closer. You can use a USB extension. Most people have the Bluetooth dongle a foot or 2 from the gc2. Mine is 6 feet but it's an extended range dongle. Works flawlessly and what you describe just doesn't happen. Start there.

I've got the GC2 and HMT with FSX software. It runs good and it seems to be really accurate. But, i don't really love the graphics. I am interested in the TGC software, it looks way more realistic than the FSX in my opinion. I live in the United States. Does anyone know a salesman that i can talk to about this, name and phone number please? I've looked online and can't find anyone in the States. Thanks.

I have GC2 and also have had issues with TGC at times. I don't use TGC anymore and would be willing to give someone a fair price if they wanted to buy it off me.

I have gc2 with hmt -Fs1 Fsx and TGC. I mostly use fs1 simply because how it displays my hmt info after a shot. TGC golf courses have better graphics and love online play but I am too impatient to deal with setup and have problems connecting 1/3 of the time and have erratic shot readings 25% of the time. When I want to practice with fs1 or fsx I am usually going in about 1-2 minutes - with TGC I have too many clicks and potential issues slowing me down.

I also created a batch file that I just click 1 icon, it opens all the software in order that I need and flicks on the GSX connection to my GC2. Waiting for TGC to load up takes longer.

And I've never had any "connection" issues.

What's going on with that? Do you guys not have bluetooth dongle within a few feet of the GC2?

A lot of people contact me for help. It's always a Bluetooth issue. The only time I have an issue is after I've had the ES16 connected or the RMotion. The right dongle, the right distance and no Bluetooth items will lead to the best results. My coach has like everything connected (boditrak, vest, cameras ect) and when he bought the Asus dongle, things worked. He hasn't called me in a long time so I assume he's good.

The same thing just happened to me. I got to hole 11 and the TGC stopped reading shots. I shut everything down and restarted but the status input in GSX will not connect. I have the Anus Bluetooth adapter within inches of the GC2 and my computer is paired with the GC2. What is going on here?

I have since installed a WiFi extender between my router and computer and that eliminated all of my connection issues.
