Will E6 connect ever work on the Full Swing (not Kit) system?

It seems there is some sort grudge match going between Full Swing and Trugolf... When I had to update my E6 1.6 for the "security issue" I noticed in the FAQ they said there is no way to use with the Full Swing simulator. Then I saw something on the trugolf site that said the Full Swing compatible E6 connect was in beta testing.

Anyone have ground truth on the status or prospect of being able to play E6 Connect on the Full Swing sim?

E6 still works if you had it before full swing was selling their software, it just doesn't come with the online or connected play (or storing range and club information). On my system, I can choose full swing golf or e6, and I still use e6 occasionally because the driving range has more configuration options.

Are you saying you are using E6 connect?
I don't need online/connected play at this point. My system is from 2016, so running WIN 7, so Connect is likely not an option at this point.
If a customer wants to "update" to WIN 10/11, Fullswing forces them to buy a whole new CPU that they build for $6K(!). That seems pretty slimey. To me, this is really a security issue, and I don't think I should have to buy a CPU from them to use their software just because I update my Windows software.
I wish I were more computer savvy and could use the existing FS infrastructure with other launch monitor/ simulator software.
