Great video - thanks for showing how E6 can play, but I have a few questions...
1.) I understand that the 5 free courses are only included with the iOS version and for the PC version you can only download the E6 demo and play 1 course, is that correct? What are the 5 courses that are included? And, if you want to buy the actual Standard, or Extended version, you can get many more courses - how many new courses are released every year with the Extended version (just so I know)?
2.) You mention using the latest iPad Pro, is that what allows the 16:9 widescreen format for projection, and that if I use an older model (I have an iPad 6th Gen) I will get a 4:3 ratio, correct? That actually might work for me better as I am limited in width of space - my screen will actually be something like: 10' wide x 6' tall.
3.) Which lightning/HDMI adapter are you using to run that output from your iPad pro, assume any of them will work?
4.) You mention playing as 'Guest', and show Events where Guests cannot join and actually play the event, but I would think if we are signing on and using the Account for the R10 that I purchased that I will be able to play Events and have an Actual Account - is that right, or does this 'free version of E6 only allow a Guest account'?
5.) I've been most interested in the fact that there is a 2' x 2' square 'hitting area' that Garmin says you can hit within - which I've found to be mostly true from my work with it on the range, but what I'm curious to find out is can I place a 3 way hitting strip (with rough, fairway/tee, first cut rough turf) in that area and move my ball into the appropriate area when I'm in the rough to hit off 'rough' and still get an accurate reading? In other words, have you tried hitting shots/getting readings on the Approach R10 from other turf types in your indoor simulator? If you have not, can you try that and see if it works for you? I would like to see if the Garmin can give accurate results on rough-type turf (deepest I can get is 2.4"-3.0" of artificial turf), and also if I push the ball down into that deeper turf does it read correctly coming out of it?
6.) Putting - you say there is an option 'player decides', can you explain how that works? I think that would be an excellent idea as a way to allow 'putting' in my indoor sim, and likely even better than trying to putt into the Sim screen and gauge distance on putts of 15' or less.
Thanks,

Brettster I mean that putting on the sim is not the same as in real life and becoming good at sim putting (in my experience) doesn't necessarily translate to better scores on the course, so I consider it a waste of time to practice as a skill. I'd rather work on tee shots, approach shots and pitching because there are other, more effective ways to practice putting that don't require a monitor.

bubbtubbs - I hear you, I've gone back/forth with whether it translates to IRL... but a lot of putting will help you putt/stroke the ball better? Anyway, I don't think it matters one way or the other for me - it's the experience of 'putting' that adds to the Sim when you do it, and makes it seem more like a 'real round of golf', than not putting at all - that's what I meant to say.
Heck, I putted great tonight IRL and I have hardly played at all the last 2 months (back problems), but I was just rolling the ball really good tonight, even through the greens were just aerated, and not mowed in a while - so very, very slow! I don't know if we'll ever have a really good way to practice putting, across really big greens, since it's more expensive to build a large indoor putting green, just to hit putts of 30'-40'.

Brettster makes sense. I'm just not an "experience" sort of guy. Everything needs to have an immediate or future material benefit - golfing on the sim is just a means to improve and crush playing partners harder as well as keeping the rust off in the 6 months of winter. If I can save a few minutes every round not putting, that means more tee and approach practice.
Destination, not the journey.
