  • R10 does not connect to SimLink

R10 connected through Garmin Golf app at all times.
Connected to the SimLink app the first time with no issues until I noticed that my golf ball was not moving once I hit the ball into the screen. After trying everything on all forums I reinstalled all the mobile apps and now the R10 does not get found by the SimLink. Just keeps on looking for the garmin. Again tried all the fixes listed with still no luck. I'm using android phone. Any other suggestings greatly appreciated.

Buy an iPhone? I've not had any connection issues like you speak of (started with iPhone 7, now running iPhone 14).

Hilly05, I'm using android too. Can you use the Garmin driving range? If not then your phone and the R10 are not paired. If you can use the Garmin driving range but not a 3rd party product, then your phone is not probably not paired to your PC. I'm using E6 connect with my R10. I had to make sure my phone was added as a device (paired) to my PC in order for the connection to work.

If you go into Devices and Printers on your PC do you see your android phone listed in the Devices section?

If the devices aren't pairing there's some setup that's not complete or correct. On my PC my Android phone showed as an Unknown Device, and when I added that device to my PC it recognized it as a motorola z4 then it would pair with my R10 and the E6 connect software.
The setup can be frustrating if you're not a network technician.....
