Simulator with just an iPhone (Golfboy app)

Just tried out an app from the App Store called Golfboy.

Free two month trial and includes basic simulation.

I have no launch monitors to compare it with, and my net setup only allows partial wedges but I can confirm that the app captures shots, spits out numbers, and allows you to play simulated rounds (very basic graphics with a top down view).

If nothing else, the putting practice could be a worthwhile way to practice indoors.

I don’t see any reviews from it, and am curious if others have tried it out.

Hey jdoorny. I’m in the process of testing it out now. Starting with pitch shots and all the data seems real close with the exception of launch direction. I am playing around with the phone camera position to see how that impacts the numbers. Waiting on mats and net for my indoor hitting area. I will keep testing and let you know.
