I am working on a low cost launch monitor using a Raspberry Pi and a global shutter camera. Total cost about $300. Wonder is there is a place for discussing this on this forum.

You'll need very high speed cameras. Do you know the specs of the global shutter cameras? Fps and resolution?

Looks like someone is trying here- https://hackaday.io/project/195042-d...launch-monitor
But also more advanced here- https://www.youtube.com/@GnG_Golf

You can get high speed USB3.0 cameras for ~$300. They will do 1500fps @ 640 * 240. You probably need C++ skills. Python might not be fast enough to capture the ball video.
