Sand and rough hitting strips

I’m thinking about getting sand and rough strips for my simulator that would penalize shots hit from them.
How can I disable those in GSPro if needed?
Also, would it still be possible to participate in the SGT Tour after that?
And finally, does anyone have recommendations for good hitting strips for that purpose?

If you play with player settings and not force realistic then I believe GSPro does not punish you for sand and rough

Not really a big fan of those sand/rough hitting strips to be honest. I've tried quite a few around various installations and my feeling is one is better off just using the in-game penalties and practice (especially bunker-play) in real life. I know that is not what you were after but thought I'd chime in.
