  • Flightscope x3

I've recently upgraded from the mevo+ to a flight scope X3 for my simulator setup. I'm having some intermittent issues with slow reads and inaccurate data while using GS pro. Occasionally the X3 works as intended and provides instant feedback when shots are hit. When the simulator works like this the data and shot tracking appears highly accurate. More often than not the shot tracking is delayed by several seconds and the data seems much less accurate. My assumption is that GS pro is attempting to do a full flight track from the X3 and not a limited range track for the indoor setup as it should. I don't see an option in the gs pro menu to force limited flight tracking. I am using RCT balls and have that option selected in the gs pro menu. I would assume that would make GS pro default to limited flight tracking. Has anybody else encountered an issue like this?

Are you connected via WiFi or using an Ethernet cable? I have instant shot notification using an Ethernet cable. I have never tried WiFi just prefered a cable to prevent situations like this.

Using wifi, don't have Ethernet on my laptop I use for my SIM and my router is in a different room so it's kind of my only good option. I still have my mevo+ which I switched back to today but the spin numbers with it are very inconsistent, especially with driver when I'm swinging hard.

Spin has nothing to do with the connection and how quickly the shot is being posted. I would recommend reaching out to Flightscope and see if they can help you with your router settings. They may have a procedure to reduce the time.
