R-Motion + SkyTrak + TGC = An epic solution!

We just got a hint from Rapsodo that there will be a software release for SkyTrak that integrates the R-Motion so that BOTH club and ball data are available to TGC (with a full license). This means that for a fraction of the price of a GC2/HMT you could actually have a reasonable low-cost analysis/feedback with an awesome simulator (TGC) - Sweet!

Protee has that already and is awesome. Maybe this will make it possible to putt with a skytrak . If so skygolf should give every sky trac owner a free sensor for their putter, or at least very cheap.

Sadly, as good as the extra data is, the one thing it won't give you is any analysis or feedback on ball striking. How would Sktrak or R-Motion have any clue on your strike? You'd get club data through your swing and the resulting ball data, but actual strike would be missing and unmeasurable.

now if SkyTrak_Seth released an addon piece of hardware that sprays foot powder on my club face at address, then we have something giving you strike that doesn't even require the 3 dot system per GC2

Unfortunately they are not giving any discount for the TGC software that comes with the R-Motion and you cannot just buy the SkyTrak and R-Motion and use the R-Motion's limited TGC software
