Well, if you've read mine, you know i'm dead in the water. Waiting for a response from R motion/Rapsodo at this time.

If you have one, what are you looking for out of a review? Is there any questions to confirm what you're seeing, if so, i can try to answer based on the time i was able to use it.

      Yes, I suppose you're right.

I did a review and video. Currently stuck with the clip situation. I only have a couple left and I haven't had much luck with the putty. Rapsodo said they are making a new clip though.

Heman is right though, the lucky 10 haven't all done their reviews have they?

I know there are a few out there. Not sure about all 10.

          And I quote:

          1. If you are a Optishot user and already have a set up (PC, Mat, Net etc. ) and living in USA.
          2. If you are committed to do a brief review and a short video about R-Motion and post it on this forum and allow us to use your video and your review elsewhere (Web site etc.)
          3. If you are one of the first 10 that reply this message with a picture of your current set up and "Yes, I want to review R-Motion"

          -----------------------

So the stipulation was a review AND a video. I put this in my original comments but again, one guy didn't even have the proper computer, mat, or balls (because he posted as much in one of the review threads) yet signed up for a free R Motion.

Obviously if Rapsodo wants to give free R Motions away then good for them, I just think it is in poor taste to accept a free item and not fulfill the obligation set for getting said free item.

Mine was delayed by a bad bluetooth dongle, I think a lot of us were also waiting on a stable release. Mine is working great now and my review is coming with videos, I am going to do side by side comparison with optishot which I believe will make every optishot owner rethink there simulator situation.

I agree with Tom. I had some issues with mine. Didn't work properly for a left handed player. Wanted to give them a chance to work out some issues.

Got it, I absolutely understand the whole "ironing out the bugs" reasoning. Look forward to your reviews and videos!

                  Hi All,
I'm one of the Lucky 10 and have yet to post a video or a review. I informed Rapsodo at the time of the drawing that my set was non-existing and I was trying to piecemeal it together. Not going to lie, I did drag my feet a bit when the system was not cooperating with some people. My biggest cost is the computer so I was already torn between a laptop and desktop. Well, I finally ordered my laptop and am waiting for it to arrive. My setup is going to be a bit weird as I don't have a lot of space so I will have to be creative. I have an old tube television so hook the laptop to that will be a challenge. Momma said we can get a new one but we will see. Hope to have something in the next couple of weeks. Any suggestions would be cool. Well, maybe after you see the setup.

Played a full round with the Rmotion last night. I believe this is the first full round I've played using all my clubs. I've played before just using the clubs I had clips for. I used the putty for the whole round and had the sensor fly off 4 times. Not bad really as long as it hits the screen and bounces onto the grass mat. Much better luck than I've had previously. It seemed to read all shots great only missing one short chip. I did have some odd things happen with putting. On 4 different occasions it just putt without me making a stroke. In fact, I wasn't even setup to the ball yet. Not a big deal. Just did a rewind. I assume it must be much more sensitive with the putter. All in all it was a good experience.

This happens to me quite often when I take practice swings. Since the sensor reads the vibration of the club, if you swing down and take some turf during a practice swing it reads like a shot. Maybe you accidentally hit something with your putter to make it think you had hit the ball.

I ordered this and I should get it soon, but I will be out of town when it arrives. One thing that everyone seems to have an issue with are the clips Has the company actually executed any action with their newly designed clips? I assume those will eventually become the standard clip shipped.

Hit tons of balls last night on the driving range then played the 9 hole par three course. Again, Rmotion never missed a shot. Had major trouble with hole number 2. Kept hitting in the water. Ended up with a 10 on a par 3 . Didn't have any trouble with putting this time. Practiced putting on the driving range and got my distance down better and it helped a lot in my round. More and more impressed with the Rmotion each time I play. I used the putty again and didn't have any sensor fly offs this time. Afmilboy02, I'm not sure what testing has went into the new clip. I hope it was extensive and a good clip. I'm looking forward to trying it when it comes out.

can you post some pics of the putty option? I am thinking I will use the for my clubs (metal shaft) and the clips for my sons clubs (graphite shaft).

I'll post some pics when I get a minute. Doing Mother's Day stuff right now. The problem you'll run into is having to remove the putty each time to slide into the clips on your sons club. I think you either need to do putty only or clips only. I wouldn't have the patience to do both.

Here's some pics of the putty method I use. Had trouble with the sensor flying off this morning. I think it may be key to use new putty each day. It's cheap enough. Also, I make sure to press down on it lightly before each swing. Even if I'm using the same club over and over on the driving range. I found if you don't do this it flies off more often.
