R-Motion Release 1.3.0

Hello All,

We released R-motion 1.3.0 in our website. This release includes several improvements in UI and under the hood changes.

improvements are:

• UI:
  • Added hybrid club H3 and H4 in club selection, you can toggle it to select iron or hybrid.
  • Split TGC game from the R-motion APP, Now TGC game will remain open when the APP quits.
  • Improvements in free license request process.
• FW:
  • Several Algo improvements (LA corrections , Face Angle , Spin & Spin axis accuracy improvements)

Other Notes:

For existing SkyTrak TGC license holders, please follow the steps below:

1. Make a backup of your existing TGC license string
2. Request a free license. The app will receive and install the license.
3. In Upgrade Tab, copy and paste your original SkyTrak license and you should be set.

You can always go back to 1.2.6 if you are not satisfied with the release. (You cannot go back to 1.2.8, you should first go back to 1.2.6 and upgrade to 1.2.8 if you want to have access to 1.2.8)

Alright this may be user error, but wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issues as I am. Download was quick and easy to install. restarted computer... double tap on sensor... open R-Motion app... the "PLAY" button is already RED and goo to go, but the sensor is not connected and its led is RED. Then the led turns BLUE and you would think all is well, not the case. TGC opens up just fine, but the sensor's led stays BLUE and no shots are being read (yes the prongs are facing up lol).

Any idea of a fix for this? Uninstall. delete, and re-download? Thanks for the help!

Blue LED indicates the sensor is ready and waiting for the command to go from TGC game. But it looks the communication is broken between the game and the APP.

Can you make sure the following?

1. Open Task manager and make sure you have only one instance of server.exe running in your computer. If you see multiple instances, close both the APP and the game and start again.
2. Do not open the TGC game from the TGC Dashboard, Allways open the game from the APP.

Is anyone else having issues with their driver with the 1.3.0 release? Before this release I was hitting my driver really well. Now if I swing more than 75% I get a launch angle of 19-24 degrees and it goes left severely. I end up with a 195-215 yard tee shot. Before this update and irl I typically hit it fairly straight 280-290

rhart did you ever get an answer to the driver issue? I was having a similar problem today. Everything going left but it was also showing a 30 degree launch angle. I had one shot that I hit really well and it showed that I popped it up and only went 60 yards.

Jb50 ... no I never got a response to the issue..I did some looking back and the new release has changed things with the driver dramatically. My swing is pretty consistent so I know that is not the issue. Prior to the new release my launch angle was around 11 degrees...now it averages 18 degrees. My side spin was 400 now it is around -1200. Back spin was 2000 and now 4200. Carry distance was 245 and now it is 216. So the side spin numbers being much higher coupled with the back spin numbers is equating to a considerable loss in distance and a high weak left ball flight. I wouldn't be too worried if I were making bad swings. However as a scratch player that practices consistently, I know when I make a bad swing. I had now issues previously with the other versions with the driver. Also there are no other clubs in the bag that are affected. Hopefully Rapsodocan chime in or possibly offer a solution in the next update.

Hopefully Rapsodo will take a look at this. Perfect time of year for me to practice in my garage. Weather is great in Vegas. Any boy do I need the practice.
