Thought I would start a new thread on using Rmotion driver. I saw that rhart was having issues with his driver not reading correctly since the last update. At the time I had not really used my driver. I was concentrating on irons only. Yesterday I was hitting driver and it started out fine. Then all of the sudden it started reading like I was hitting a wedge. Very high launch angles and short shots. Most of them going left. The left part may be true because I'm fighting going left. However the short distances and popups aren't accurate. and I'm saying as short as 60 yards on a very well struck shot. Many others were around the 130 carry. Not sure what happened but I restarted and same thing continued. All other clubs seemed to be reading accurately. Anyone else noticing this?

Rapsodo I started having troubles with the Rmotion reading shots the other day. Anyone else having any issues? I was playing a round and it was working fine. I didn’t have any no-reads for 7 holes. Then on the 8th hole it wouldn’t read my hybrid. Then on the 9th hole it took 3 hits to read driver and then problems every shot trying to finish the hole. Today I was trying to play a round again and this time it read fine for 1 hole and then I couldn’t get it to read. I shut down and started again. It again read 1 hole ok (it did miss a hybrid shot) then wouldn’t read on the next hole. I switched from driver to 7 iron to see if it would read and after 2 shots it read the 7 iron. I tried another shot and it wouldn’t read then when I set up behind the ball it made a shot that went about 10 yards without me doing anything. I tried again and again no read. Exited out and restarted and went to the driving range and could not get it to read any shots at all. So I shut it down. I was getting a green light for every shot. I may try going back to an earlier version.

I have had the sim a couple of months with no issues but now I'm having the same issue. Never had a problem with the tracker until a week ago when it stopped being able to read driver and woods. I've tried hitting off the tee and off the mat, but neither will read. It reads irons and putter, though. Also, I can tell it that I am hitting driver, though I'm actually hitting a 3 iron, and it reads it just like a driver. I've spent countless hours moving the clips around the clubs, trying to figure out a way to make it read, but to no avail. I even moved the dongle to different usb ports, that didn't help, either. I ran the diagnostic a few days ago, so hopefully they'll have some feedback for me soon. This is a great little simulator, my daughter and I are on it constantly, so I hope it is something that can be easily fixed. Jb50 , let us know if you try an earlier version, if it works or not. Thanks!

I hit some balls with the Rmotion yesterday and had consecutive no-reads with a wedge. At this point I turned on diagnostics but I never had a no-read again with the exception of a couple of toed shots that didn't read. I believe the two wedges that didn't read were because I didn't set up behind the ball for a second. I think I started my backswing too soon. I did have some strange driver reading again thought. Several very high pop ups to the left. I also had a couple of very low shots in there too. My User ID is JB50.

So, after turning on diagnostics, they still couldn't find the issue. However; I think I might have stumbled onto the issue. I have my setup in a carpeted garage ( yes, carpeted; I added the carpet because I was scared I'd drop that tiny tracker at some point). Anyways, the garage never gets too cold, but the temp had dropped about a week or so ago (about the time my troubles started). The last couple of days it has been much warmer. Last week the garage was around 60-62 degrees and now it is 68-70. Yesterday, I was able to hit my driver and 3/5 woods, still with several miss reads, but at least it was reading some. Today, it is even warmer and after playing 18, I had maybe 6 miss reads total. I'll continue to monitor the situation, if anything changes, I'll keep you posted.
