  • Can anyone here help?

I just emailed R-Motion for the third email chain since they keep stopping midway through and I still can't use my device.

I was hoping that someone here might have an idea to get me headed in a playable direction.

    Summary of relevant PC specs:
    OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
    Processor: Intel i7-3770k
    Memory: 24GB DDR3-1600
    Video: AMD RX560 4GB
    HD: 120GB OCZZ Agility SSD

I have change the ownership of the files, I have installed the driver for the Bluetooth adapter/dongle, I have disabled Windows Defender (and have no other protection on this PC), I've checked to make sure their is only 1 instance of server.exe running, I've restarted it all and the PC and all to no avail.

This is my second R-Motion because the first one had the same issues and Rapsodo stopped responding to my emails. Obviously, it wasn't a single faulty product.

The app loads fine and so does TGC. Everything seems to connect and be working until you go and try to play. If you leave diagnostic mode off it never registers a swing. If you turn diagnostic mode on it registers a swing, but definitely not a correct swing (experimented with an 8-iron and got about 1 yard total per swing.)

Has anyone had a similar issue or have any ideas to try? I'm fresh out of ideas and running out of patience.

EDIT: As a note, this is a fresh install of Windows (built the PC from a combo of old and new parts for this simulator) with absolutely nothing installed but Windows 10, R-Motion app, and TGC. I haven't even installed any other drivers except R-Motion dongle and whatever Windows 10 is running for everything else.

Sorry about the poor experience. Diagnostic mode disables several checks and sends the raw data to our servers. Only quasi working in D. mode could mean a few things. Could you please a check a few things:
    - face and sensor is aligned
    - sensor is not upside down (the two charging pins are look at you)
    - unrealistic club length is entered (please use default)
    - make sure you are right/lefty settings are correct (via the tgc game settings.)

Support is closed until Tuesday. I hope this helps.

Make sure if you are right handed the player settings show “change to left handed”. The handed refers to the glove not the player so left handed glove....right handed player. Dumb...but it messed me up. Also 2 prongs face up....that will cause to register zero or 1 yard. Hope one of these helps....mine has worked pretty well to this point.

It sounds like your sensor is upside down bud.
