I finally have everything connected and working, but a couple issues if not resolved will have me returning it and going with something else.
First and the most troublesome is the distances, now mind you I'm not expecting a high level of accuracy with a $300 product but it's not even close. I have showing swing speeds (7 iron as example) between 75 - 80mph, swing path +/- 5 degrees in/out, out/in and a relatively square face position. My 7 iron in the "real world" is approx 160 yds, r-motion is displaying 80 yds +/- 10. I have used regulation and almost golf balls and both settings and balls are relatively similar results (the almost balls are a bit shorter, would expect some trade-off but not that much).
Second, I am getting a 5-10 second lag from finishing the swing to the screen shot display. I am thinking this may be due to a less than optimal CPU? Using an Intel i5 750 overckocked to 3.2GHz & a GTX 970 graphics card.
I have to admit I'm disappointed in the lack of phone or chat support from r-motion, I understand that are a young company but they will never be an old company if they don't invest in a better support structure.
Any suggestions on the above and/or alternative products is greatly appreciated.
