Playing R-Motion with no ball

Hi guys, I don't have enough space to fit a hitting net in my room and I was wondering whether R-Motion would pick up the shots I hit against a rubber tee that came with my mat. Best, Scoo.

It may. I know it picks up my practice swings if I hit down on my mat.

I would recommend just hanging up a thick blanket and hitting almost golf balls.

I can test this for you tonight, but like HeMan said it will pick up fatter practice shots sometimes. Not sure how viable that would be long term though especially with putting.

If you can't fit a net then I might suggest Optishot actually, since there is a "no ball" Option. I have one I could sell you too, used once or twice.

It will pick up without a ball as long as it hits something and detects "vibration" from what it hit. That could be a ball, the ground or a tee. Not sure how accurate. I went ahead and did a test without a ball and just using a regular tee:

Rubber tee would work well in terms of trigger. However we have not conducted any tests regarding accuracy of such exercise.

Second AlmostGolf and something to hit into. I use an old bedspread. Currently I have it suspended on a cheap green-screen frame. You need to be as far away as the longest club you want to hit. Works fine for me.

I'm going to try putting it onto my speed stick. it make a crack at the bottom if you swing it right. this should give me results, shouldn't it?...
