  • Full License TGC - And User Designed Courses Going Live

I use to design courses for TGC 1 and 2. I have Southern Hills, BayHill, Trump National and some others. (mostly RCR's) I was wondering if I buy the full license and publish a course will it be available in a timely fashion or does it take a month or two to get on ProTees servers (or whatever).

I know the releases I would make for Sim guys in the past (it's been a year or so) they would have to wait for it to come over to them...when it was immediately live for us console and pc players.

Thanks for any thoughts, I'll be buying full version I think and want to know what to expect.

Hey Storm, thanks for all the great RCR’s.

As long as your designing in TGC1 you are able to see/play your courses on the SIm version immediately if you use the TGC sim version to publish the course. If you publish using the TGC 1 PC/ Console, you would have to wait a while for a course sync to the Protee Servers. These course syncs have been few and far between since the release of TGC2 seeing most all PC Console users moved on to TGC2.

If you haven’t heard, the TGC Simulator version will be skipping TGC 2 and going right to TGC 2019. Word is we will get it a few months after the releases. So you cannot design in TGC2 and publish them in TGC SImulator version 1.

ok if I publish with TGC Sim version which I now own I can play immediately on the sim? I'm guessing there are no differences in the editor/experience between the console/pc version of TGC1 and the Sim version? Probably just the servers they are publishing too, I'm guessing.

Can you confirm that these courses are on the sim currently? Not sure how they will come over, TGC Member, may not show StormGolf73 *shrug*
      Southern Hills Country Club
      Bay Hill Club & Lodge
      Trump National Philadelphia
      Galveston Country Club

I'm looking forward to buying full version and probably getting into designing again and publishing for Sim!

I'm guessing I could publish through sim and then again on PC for those servers?!?

All courses eventually end up on the same server. ProTee is syncing every other month or so. But you can always use the PC version for designing and moving your course file to the "sim-computer" and publish to the sim server directly.
I've done this so I know its working. Done some course design on my laptop on the steam-version of TGC1 and then moved it to the sim-computer in my garage and published.
    Working...
