App Vs TGC Accuracy?

I could be wrong but I feel like The Golf Club is wayyy more accurate and less problem prone than the App(I'm using iOS)
For instance in the APP I keep getting really short distances half the time even though everything is setup properly.
From my recollection the last time I used TGC it was fairly close in all regards. I don't remember any major problems. But the app is definitely off.

Anyone else seeing this?

I was an Alpha Tester for TGC 2019, and I am noticing 15 - 20 yards of generosity on all of my drives compared to what SkyTrak gives me. I have done several checks using Flightscope's Trajectory Analyzer and TGC 2019 usually has my distance skewed in my favor after inputting ball speed, launch angle, spin, etc. In the SkyTrak application, their distance model seems way more accurate in my experience.

Here is a shot of my numbers from a 3 Hybrid. I was on a GC2 that was showing around 20-30 more yards further on average!

Was using https://flightscope.com/products/trajectory-optimizer/ and they are showing 20-30 yards more too!

Need help!

I think the problem is the spin. No way a hybrid 3 is going to spin at that rate. If you lowered the spin to like 3k i bet you get some of the distance back.

Maybe try to select 3 iron and swing with a hybrid and see what happens. They must have something off with the spin estimation for hybrid.

118 MPH club head speed on a 3 hybrid??? Does Cam Champ even get that kind of speed out of a 3? Unless you are a tour pro im not sure its reading correctly

Is the club head speed off in RMotion App????
Today on the GC2 it said for one of my shots:
3 Hybrid
Clubhead speed: 101mph
Ball speed: 146mph
LA: 21 degrees
Backspin: 2157rpms
Carry: 254yds
Distance: 280yds

Now the R-Motion App says 116mph swing speed yet only going 205yds?? Lol

I found when using the APP I don't look at what they are using for spin as it has some crazy readings which I am guessing is part of how they are calculating things. For these screenshots that I am posting I was using this at the PGA Superstore in one of their bays with a GC2 and the distances and flight were very similar to each other. The starting direction for the ball flight were pretty different with the R-Motion showing it a pull draw and the GC2 having it as a push draw but total carry was close enough when comparing a $200 item to a $6500 item that I was happy with the result. I had also "tested" with my SwingMate (era 2004ish) which uses radar to measure club head speed then calculates distance and the club head speeds were very close as well but distance were off quite a bit with the SwingMate showing less on some and more on others so not sure if SwingMate was supposed to be carry or total but to me it didn't matter as for both of these distance is a calculation and not a measurement.

So:

R-Motion APP measurement of club head speed were very close to SwingMate measurement of club head speed with some swings being exact (mid to short irons was more accurate to each other).
R-Motion APP calculated distance and ball flight was very close to what GC2 was showing from its measured ball speed and spin rates. (So when it is working.. it is working very well!)

All that being said, my sensor does great for about 7 holes on TGC or about 20 minutes in TGC range or on the APP then it will start reading some wacky results like a driver with 37 degrees launch angle with a 15 degree in to out swing and only 90mph club head speed (see attached TGC screenshot).

UPDATE:
Uploaded Driver Specs

Went to the Range today with brother to test on APP.

First off I am amazed at how well it does ball path and draw/fade! Was almost perfect every shot shape! You would think that would be the hard part but it isn't. It shows with an add-on of a basic ball monitor like the SC300 it would be great.

DRIVER: Perfect Shot shapes. Ball Speed was far down again. 30 yards or more off every Carry! For instance a perfectly struck shot landed at 205yds while the APP says 165yds (attached).

3-Hybrid: Same as Driver.

7 Iron: Almost Perfect on all specs- shape and distance.


PROBLEM: I adjusted Club length in App to get more distance for Driver and Hybrid and it was having ZERO effect on the shot distance! I put his driver up to 60" and still nothing happened!!! Still was going only 160yds when clearly landed at 200+ yds.
