Has anyone tried to use the R Motion with an i7 (Win 10) machine with an undersized graphics card? My new laptop has on board Intel graphics designed for cad work but its specs are less than the minimum NVidia GTX 670 requirements. I've seen videos on Youtube where the graphics quality can be lowered while using the R Motion. Was wondering if anyone knows if doing that actually works. Thanks.

at the very least the graphics card would need to be able to run directx11. If you've got that, then you'll find out how well it runs on your machine. -
Try it. I'm using a Toshiba Satellite c55t-c5300 with an I3 and Intel HD 5500 graphics. Can run TGC2019 no problem. I do have graphics turned down.Comment

FYI, I just got the r-motion as an early Father’s Day present and am absolutely loving it. My intent was just to use only the iPhone app and convert it via HDMI to a monitor, but I ended up getting curious about the TGC sim and ran it through our office laptop. The laptop is severely underpowered and inexpensive. I thought there would be absolutely no way that it would work....man was I wrong.

i3 processor, with 8Gb RAM, and an entry-level graphics card. And to think that buying an expensive gaming PC was almost the limiting factor to buying the r-motion...Comment

Yes you can run TGC 1 (sim version of R-Motion) on an under powered laptop. You'll lose frame rate but it is playable. Just test on your specific laptop to see how good/bad it is.
Gamecock82 I have found (and others as far as I read on the forums) that the app for the phone is much less accurate than the SIM. I'd suggest testing for yourself, but for strictly practicing, I'd go to the range in the SIM rather than use the phone for #'s in my experience.Comment
