Almost Golf Balls versus foam golf balls

Do almost golf balls register better with the R-Motion than foam balls. I have no problem using the foam balls and chipping and putting with real balls. When my wife uses foam balls her driver doesn't register a hit about 30% of the time. When it does register it doesn't go very far. If she sets the club to driver on TGC but uses her 4 iron to actually hit the ball, it goes further than if she used her driver.

I thought maybe with her slower swing speed, kids mode might work better, but no change.

Any ideas?

I have two ten year old daughters and foam balls didn’t seem to register very often for them. I purchased almost golf balls and they seemed to do the trick. We use almost golf balls for every shot except putting and chipping. We still use different colored real balls for short chips and putts. All in all I have been very happy with the almost golf balls! I invested in the almost golf balls but still am having an issue when my wife tries to hit the driver. The shots with the driver seem to go quite high and to the right and only register about 90 yards of carry. If i get her to hit her 3 wood but leave the game set to the driver, the ball will go straighter and will go about 180 yards. Not sure how to explain it.

The other clubs seem to register ok.

At least all of the shots are registering now. I have checked the alignment of the clip and even tried a different clip. I have changed the club length of the driver in the settings and messed around with the loft but have not been able to get it to register it correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same type problem my driver registers a very low shot that doesn't carry very far sometimes not even to the fairway. My 3 wood set to driver does fine much higher and longer. I use real golf balls so the ball isn't the problem.
