Received the R Motion last week and have taken quite a few swings with it.
Overall, incredible product. Very impressed with it and having TGC is awesome. I’m very happy.
One thing, though. I’ve been trying to increase my swing speed and have noticed that it can cause an unrealistically high spin rate.
I’ll hit what feels like a very good 7 iron shot, feels flush, maybe 82-84 mph swing speed, but the ball speed will calculate very low and it’ll show an extremely high backspin rate (over 12,000).
The ball on screen will typically pop up, slice to the right, and go like 85 yards or something silly.
Has anyone else noticed any similar issue?
Tends to happen when I really focus on keeping an inside-to-out swing path. I’m using Almost Golf balls and have told it that. I don’t think it’s an alignment issue or anything similar because when I swing slightly slower it’s pretty flawless.
