Experience with clip breaking?

For those who had a clip break, can you tell me where your sensor ended up? Mine broke on a driver swing they day I got it and I can't find the sensor. My setup is on my lower deck which overlooks a greenbelt (I had no idea clips breaking was such a common occurrence).

Any guesses on the direction and distance?

Oh man, that sucks. I am super sorry. Think its time to invest in a metal detector? Or maybe there is someone to find it with a bluetooth detector (before the battery dies).

But wow! that is a seriously stunning place to practice golf! What a setup and view, very jealous!

I only received my r-motion from amazon today, but the clip it comes with seems really shoddy. How did/where did it break?

That's terrible news, have you contacted Rapsodo? Some folks have received a quick replacement with extra goodies, while others said they received no response at all.

I've read several reports of broken clips, this is the first I've seen about a lost sensor. Do you know anything at all about the direction, did it go through a hole in the net? I hit a foam ball that went through a hole in my net and it went over 20 yards in back of the net. Could you borrow a metal detector? Good luck!

Thanks. I live near Seattle (Sammamish) Washington and it is beautiful up here .

It broke on a normal driver swing. I had used the driving range app for a bit and then set up a the PC simulator and the clip broke on my first swing. I found the back part tangled in the net but the sensor part was gone. I searched for it but it was like a needle in a haystack only worse (and then it rained overnight).

Rapsodo got back to me this morning and said they will send a replacement (I hope they mean the Sensor and not the clip) so I ordered 13 clips from ebay for $30.

Someone local suggested I get an archery backdrop for the net so I am trying to find one of those on amazon.

Yep get out the search team lol..had mine break in my garage which is full of stuff on the side...took me over an hour to find it...needle in a haystack and somehow I found it. Going to invent a glow in the dark sensor and make millions

Rapsodo did get back to me this morning (I emailed on Friday) and said they will replace it. I was hoping it fell between the deck and the actual forest (it is hard to tell in the photo but there is a small clearing about 10 yards wide). It would have been extremely difficult to find but still possible, if it went into the actual forest then it is lost forever. A bear or coyote probably has it in their golf sim setup by now .

So did it end up to the side of you rather than in front of you?

Yes...actually behind and to the left of my setup lol. Lucky it didn't land in all the junk in garage.
