I have had the R-motion for a few years and have really liked it. I never would have got the full licence if I was not told I would be getting free access to 2019, and I would not need to change simulators if that was happening. I won't go further into that however, and like I said I have enjoyed the R-motion and it has helped my golf game I just want to continue to play in the tournaments online with friends who have 2019.

What are the next best options for simulators that will work with 2019 so I can play with all the current people? I have not looked through them at all in years. The only one I know of is skytrack, and I do not know much about that.

    thanks

Real Shame would of been great to get RMotion running on TGC 2019, real let down after commitments were made & not delivered. Other options Skytrack & Mevo+ if you want to play TGC 2019 or Tittle X for E6 there are other but more expensive.

Yeah the next step up is to go to an actual launch monitor like Skytrak or Mevo+ where you can play TGC2019 with shots that are recorded through ball data instead of club data. The online tournaments are a blast. Of course you can upgrade even further if you want to bypass those and spend some more coin. But those would be the next step up the ladder.

Yes the other comments are correct...the next step is SkyTrak or Mevo +. I did a couple of youtube video comparing R-Motion and Skytrak...maybe this will help with your decision:

I'm in the same situation. Got the free upgrade to TGC 2019, but no support for 2019 from R-Motion... :-(
          It's a shame because I'm very pleased with R-Motion.
What are the best options playing with almost golf balls, because I can't play with real balls..

I believe people have reported using almost golf balls with Skytrak and using the club boost feature to make up the difference in carry distance. I guess in theory that could work with a Mevo+ as well but I don't recall reading about anyone doing that just yet(?).

thanks for the suggestions! I will check mevo out. Skytrack is expensive, but could be worth it in the long run. The online tournaments are just so fun, I hope to be able to play in them for a long time, it feels like you are in a real tournament.

Skytrak and Mevo+ are the same price.

Skytrak is nearly $200 more, plus $100 annual for the GIP, plus sim software purchase/rental.

Mevo+ comes with a base IOS E6 connect. It's arguably a significant cost reduction.

Totally agree on R Motion really like it but their dropping of any upgrades was bad. I got Tittle X then went with E Connect expanded. It has 96 courses and if you call them it's $120 a year for Tittle X not $600. It's very close to R Motion and the graphics are outstanding. All in for $199 plus the $120. This will do for me until I move up to Skytrac or Mevo+

Yes...I agree nbar...Tittle X is a great option if you don't plan on hitting a ball (though I have done it). i like the E6 software also and it has some great options.

golfallyear I have hit real balls also and find it to be very close to the same as using foam or wiffle balls. I really like Tittle X for the outstanding graphics and all the options on E6 Connect. I have found it to be a bit more forgiving than R Motion but that's a boost to the ego LOL.

Tittle X is awesome. I had the R Motion and the Optishot and I would say hands down the Tittle X is better. With Tittle X, you can keep your all your stats for each shot and practice session plus work on short game shots in a mode inside the driving range. The data is much larger and color organized and feels like a real simulator as well on the E6. I do not use the clips as Locktite blue poster tack ($2) from Walmart works great just like it did for R Motion. Only issue is the arrows on the sensor that change the club and sometimes you can hit that when applying to clubs so you gotta make sure you do not touch those. I got mine for $159 off EBay and it’s a hell of a bargain!
