How much data this game uses ????? Wow, I'm using almost a Gig for 18 holes.( Yes I play slow, but not THAT slow !!)

I am playing in High resolution. Going to try low, to see if it makes a difference. -
Well just I case this ever winds up a concern for anyone else, I tried lowering the resolution to low. Next full round I play I'll report my results.Comment

I think each course you play is downloaded from the ProTee servers (i.e. the courses are not stored locally, even after you play them) every time you play. And, the entire course is downloaded before you start play. This is probably where the bulk of the data usage is coming from.Comment

Jrz....I thought that was how it was also, mostly because of the gaming computer requirements. I'm not so sure now. I think it may be the same as being on HD videos on YouTube. Your on line ALL the time. That's the only way I can figure in the high data usage. A full gig ever 3 hours is a lot!Comment

I think each course download is under 100 MB. Graphics quality and resolution have nothing to do with the data usage of the game.
If you are seeing 1gb used after a round, I would guess that your PC is downloading windows updates in the background or something like that.

I'm going to try out a higher resolution projector so I hope it doesn't go any higher.Comment
