Putting scout camera

Wondering if there is a setting I need to change to prevent this.

When I am on the green and am in putting mode, the putting bird's-eye view typically starts over the hole and then I back track it to the ball. However when I have longer putts, the camera will sometimes do a 180 degree switch and hover over the golf ball instead.

Is there a way to make this consistent? It always throws me off a bit reading the opposite way when this happens.
