Club choice/shot type matter?

    Club choice/shot type matter?

    Hi guys, I'm new to this. Except for selecting the putter for the skytrak to be in putting mode, does selecting the correct club and shot type (flop, chip, etc) make a difference? Don't want to waste my time if it makes no difference.

          Only matters if you want to keep better stats when pulling data from recorded shots.

              Oh ya, that could be useful... do you know if there's a way to change the default distances so that I don't have to change clubs so often?

              That would be a NO at this point. Maybe in TGC2? It would be a great add to be able to use your own distances so it comes up with the corresponding club correctly.
