  • Auto Aim and Gimme Questions

Is there a way to stop the auto aim from pointing back to the fairway when I am in the rough?
Is there a way to have the auto aim always aim at the pin instead of the course line that the creator configured?

    Is there a gimmee shortcut?

    Thanks!

It's a no to all. Gimmies are set to be automatic only. The game points you where it recommends you to hit it.

I agree 100%. I also hate when it points me to a strange place and says 5 iron on a 400 yard par 4. Annoying.

mthunt That is because that is how the designer set it by placing the mid point marker when creating the hole. If I create a hole and only select 200 yards as my mid point and then dog leg it the rest of the way to the hole, the game with automatically set you up with a 4 iron because that is the distance to that point. Same for designers who place the marker slighter less than 265 yards, it will give you a 3 wood instead of driver.

In the PC/console version, there is a way to turn auto caddie off but then you start with driver every shot and have to select your club.

Not exactly true. You can set the landing point anywhere you want and the game may still recommend a shorter club.
