TGC config file, difference between Green Speed and Stimp?

    TGC config file, difference between Green Speed and Stimp?

    What is the difference between these 2 parameters? Does stimp only affect green speed for putts, and speed only affects green speed for approach shots?

    [Course Configuration]
    Green Stimp=5
    Green Speed=2

    One is the green speed and the other is the green speed relative to the speed the designer set the greens too. Sounds confusing, right?
