    TGC not detecting swing

Hello all, I just got my studio setup with a GC2 and TGC as my core components. I went through all of the instructions given to me by Par2Pro (where I made my purchase). I installed the GC2 drivers, ProTee 2.0 including GSX, ProTee Portal, and TGC. I followed the integration instructions to get my laptop to connect via bluetooth to the GC2. I start the ProTee Golf Interface and all looks good. I start up GSX, and both Status Input and Status Output show connected. I start TGC and all looks good there too.

Here's the issue. The first time I started the game after doing all of the installs. the software worked as expected. Some of the shots didn't detect but I figured it was because I had the lights in the room off to get the full effect of the course projected on my 13'x9' impact screen. Today I tried it again and now it won't detect a shot at all. The GC2 panel shows the shot, and the interfaces all look good, but the TGC software just acts like I haven't hit anything.

Anyone have a suggestion on where to start with the troubleshooting? Does this sound familiar? Did a search in this forum and couldn't find an entry that looked like it was the same as my problem.

    Thanks in advance!

The Bluetooth is pretty sensitive. Are you using the Bluetooth adapter built into your laptop? Try setting your laptop right behind the gc2 but where it won't get hit and try a shot. If that fixes it, you will probably want to buy a Bluetooth adapter to use. I have the Asus one that was recommended on here with an extension usb cable so I can set it right next to the gc2. Other than that, I would just step through all the setup steps again to make sure nothing changed without you realizing it.

Is your GSX on with both sliders saying connected?

It was a stupid user error. Failed to turn on the GC2. Duh. Thanks for responding!
