I'm Swedish just like you and I'm also interested in finding Swedish courses. The ones I found:
Bro Bålsta (quite long but the wide fairways are helping)
Bro Hof (several different variations all quite long)
Ullna (the hardest course I ever played, almost unplayable)
Täby
Sollentuna
Eskilstuna gk

Good. You can add Vallentuna and Rya Gk. Nice and playable both of them. Tried Bro Hof but as you state...loooong.
First time I tried Augusta I thought that was unplayable!
Played Eskilstuna IRL and it is not that tough. I´ll give it a try.
Since there are so "many"courses there must be more players! Somebody made the Courses!

How do I add you as friend in "the golf club"?

I bought the pc version from steam with the intention of doing Vidbynäs GK and Kallfors. But i don’t see that happening in the near future. (Extremely time consuming to make a course) Would love to see more Swedish courses.

My TGC name is BjornInSweden. I have never played an online round so far, but I would like to try it. This evening at 18-19?

I also have an intention to produce my home courses Halmstad Norra and Halmstad Södra. I played Eskilstuna first 9 yesterday and it was a pleasant experience, 5800-ish meters.

When I bought the game I thought playing from different tees would be possible, which it's not. Many courses are designed to be played as a pc game or console with lengths from professional players. Playing with my wife and kids is not possible with carries over water or rough +100 m.

A tip for finding "playable" versions of courses: They often have Protee added in the name. Even these are too long for my wife.

I added a photo of my golf studio. Finished it two months ago and use it almost every day 😃

Nice!! You have no problem with the offset of the ST to the center of the screen? Do you need the extra light i see infront of the ST?
I can make Rya for 4800m if you like that.
Having tough times getting TGC to publish my builds. So far it is only published from 5900m.

I´m not sure I can play tonight. I might have some friends over for a competition.. !! :-)

I didn't know about Rya 😀. Actually the first course I played in real life. Will try it right away. 5900 is perfect length. Any other courses in skåne/Västkusten area?

5700m is done but I cant publish. Tried to reach Protee but no respons.

Offset, no problem for me. New players tend to aim for the center of the screen instead of aiming along the mat.

Light: Sometimes I get unread shots so I added the lamp. I don't know if it has any effect, but I saw somewhere that the skytrak needs a lot of light to read accurately. The projected picture is not so good if I use full effect on the spotlights...

Liked Rya! Could be a great course from 4800!

Rya shall be played with at least 6 m/s wind..!! Otherwise it is to easy. Glad you liked it.
Sad thing with design tool is that when you move the tees also the fairway and ruff changes.
It wasn´t as easy as I thought to make 4800m.

Hi Björn! I'm also quite new to the simulator world. I have the R-motion version of TGC so i can't get more then the free 16 courses. I'm from Karlstad so it would be awsomw to se how the Karlstad course looks like. Could you please post some photos of it?

I looked at a few of the courses I recommended yesterday. Falkenberg, Kungsbacka, Vallda are not looking like their original but Allerum is, except from one hole if you compare to their webpage.

It is probably not Karlstad Golfklubbs course. First hole was a 442 m par 4 with water along the right side. Extremely long and tough course...

ok! Thanks for looking it up. The distances are actually quite similar to the "Blue - Yellow" course. Karlstad has three 9-hole courses. Blue, yellow, red. But there is no water on 1st, its out-of-bounds though.

The design tool doesn´t allow one to make OB between 2 holes when it is only a punishment from one hole. Designer might added water as punishment instead?I
I have that design problem at Rya GK. Placed the OB sticks and then it is up to honesty to declare the ball unplayable ( between 8 and 9 but only from the eight hole)

There is “Tobo Golfklubb” (Småland) as well, 5700m from the yellow tees.

The ”Vimmerby” one is actually a fictional course.

For something family friendly I mapped all tees for my Baltusrol rendition - called ”The Baltasar”. Try the ”Curtis tees” version that is around 5000 meters.

Hi again,

I finally took the plunge and got the full license TGC.
The Karlstad Golfklubb course designed by D Lowdon was fictional so i'm currently trying to design a real version myself.

I did publish the first nine (Blue course) yellow tees, yesterday and gave it a try. Unfortunately I didnt play it in designer mode before publishing so the greens on some holes are really though. I will make some changes and publish a new version soon. Another thing was that hole #6 is actually a Par 5, TGC thought it was short enough for a Par 4, I'll change that as well to next publish.

Karlstad GK is set up with three nine-hole courses, Blue, Red and Yellow. I'll try to give all courses the most correct representation there is. Mostly using Google Earth as underlay but very much my own experience. Finally it pays of for us high handicappers who struggle to keep ourselfs on the fairway

I would suggest adding "Protee" to the name so sim players know it's geared for them.
