  • TGC Skytrak settings question

Hi all - I'm still a relatively new user to TGC and have a question about a setting - not sure if it exists or not. Is there a way to display of all (local) players' distance to the hole? This seems like it would help speed up game play substantially? I've played a few foursome rounds with buddies and if we knew 1) who was next to hit and 2) their yardage, it would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming since my post has 90 views but no responses that this setting doesn't exist

If anyone from TGC reads this, a suggestion for a future feature would be to allow "distance to pin" to be displayed at all times, possibly next to the golfers names at the top left corner of the screen?

If I'm hitting, it would be helpful for the other guys I'm golfing with to know that Dave (for example) is next to play, and he's 155 yards out. And after Dave is Kevin, who is 144 out.

TGC - thanks for a really fun product...and thanks for listening to a suggestion for something that would benefit local game-play.

I don't think this setting exists. I have been playing TGC for 2 years. Have never heard anybody mentioning it

Doesn’t have it, really needs it. Would definitely speed up play.

That was one thing I really liked about E6, it showed who was next and their yardage on the post-shot info from the last player to hit.

100% agree would be a very nice feature. Also post shot analysis screen should also show distance to hole after shot. U could also tell if a put was within gimme distance

If I am remembering correctly, JNPG does exactly this. It does speed up play a little bit.

I did notice that gimmes get automatically added to the "stroke counter" next to the player in the top left of the main window. Obviously if you know how many strokes you have taken and notice that it added 1, that means you were in gimme range. But it's not the most intuitive way to know if it's a gimme

But I totally agree in general...if the post shot screen added a "distance to hole" it would be awesome. And if your putt was in gimme range it would even better if the post shot screen said the word "gimme".

I'm really enjoying TGC. Hopefully they continue to improve the UI over time.
