Fun game to play with a bunch of local players

I'm curious to know what games people like to play when they have a lot of friends (5 or more) over to the house. Everyone is a similar handicap, but playing stroke play with 5 or more people would take forever. I'm wondering what others do to entertain a bunch of golfers (alternate shot, scramble, etc...) I want to play some fun games playing "Augusta" on TGC or JNPG while watching it tomorrow. I'm just not sure the best way to entertain.

Any advice is appreciated.

I've had guys over the last 2 years and we've played a 2 ball Scramble on JNPG on "Georgia Pines"

It's fun to play along while the tourney is on TV but playing 4 people stroke play would take forever so scramble is the way to go.

then you fire up Hole 12 and 16 and play 3 shots each hole closest to the pin to cap it off

When I get a bunch of ppl over. I have a white board and we do match play and Team match play (alternate shot)
1 plays 2 for the first hole, 3 plays 4 on the second hole and then back and fourth.
Keeps the holes going fast. Just play 36 and that’s 18 holes match play.
We throw a pot in for longest drive
First gimmie birdie, chip ins, longest putt etc. Just keep track of stuff on the white board.
Alternate shot Stableford. Keep track of the points

The game badly needs more game modes to support more players. At minimum i would like to see more than 4 players per group supported (it's a real world imposed limitation that shouldn't apply here). Ideally i would like multiple game modes (best ball, match play, scramble, skins) that support either individual play or assigning players to teams for team based play.
