  • Practice Areas - Driving Range, Chipping and Putting greens

    Hi fellow TGC users,

Yesterday (04 Oct 18) i invested a ton of my hard earned pennies into the one time purchase of TGC to use with my skytrak setup in my garage. I also have had, for several months, owned TGC2 on PC. As much as i love the game, whether that's on PC playing with mouse or using the skytrak with my clubs, i cant find any practice areas on the sim version. No Driving Range, No Chipping Green or Putting Greens. Where are they or does the sim version not have any?

I don't mind using the Skytrak versions of the practice areas but would rather use the software that i have paid an extortionate amount for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search for "ProTee Edge". I created a series of driving range/practice areas.

Search mthunt. My latest range has a chipping green and putting course. You put it in auto rewind and hit balls and chip. Chipping green is to the right. Take it out of rewind then concede hole to get to putting course.

I like to use the water driving range, i think it's called H2O. If you search this, it should come upl. That way it only shows carry, which with a sim is what I'm more interested in.

I guess what some consider extortionate, others consider a value. Compare costs to other sim software, this is one of the more cost effective options if you plan to use for a 2-3 years.

For a fun driving range alternative try Hammond Farms. Animals all over make for fun targets.

Hi all. Is there a summary of the practice session somewhere? Or because you have it on Autorewind it would not have the shot history and stats?

Shot history is in your recorded shots. You need to have it on to see them. You can download to excel.

Shot Recording is a Tournament feature. In order to use shot recording you must have a tournament user profile. Play at least 1 live tournament event or official Q
