Optishot and TGC

I emailed Jonathan at Optishot just to gauge the possibility of Dancin Dogg ever looking in to implementing TGC. I've listed that email exchange below. There was some confusion at first, so not sure how likely it even is. Hopefully some other Optishot users can email DD and voice their interest in getting TGC.

Hey Zmax. Did you first approach ProTee about getting TGC, or is that something they thought up and pursued on their own?

I'm sorry Jonathan. "The Golf Club" is a golf simulator software for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. ProTee is about to launch an update that will allow their users to use The Golf Club software with their sensor mat. Just thought it might be something to look into for future use with the Optishot sensor. I've included the link to the website for TGC software. Thanks again. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Corey,

It won't be ready by the time we go public with the release but we will be maintaining a rapid update cycle. This means that we will continue to add and tweak and fix bugs as they are found and release updates often. The Golf Club as you call it, not sure what it will be called but that works for me, is top of the list so it won't be long.

Jonathan/Guys,

Just a quick question. Is there any chance, or even a possibility of "The Golf Club" being implemented for use with the Optishot at any point in the future? The ProTee players seem to be really pleased with the beta so far. I'm not sure if it's feasible or practical, but I think it would take the experience to an entirely new level. I am thoroughly enjoying my experience on the Optishot currently, both online and off. Just something to think about in regards to being a move all users would be thrilled about. Keep up the great work guys, we're having a blast with the online play. Thanks

Why am I not surprised. I would suggest other Optishot users email them just like you did. The more the better. Since they made an investment in Optishot 2 online, it's gonna be tough for them swallow their pride and adopt TGC. But it's in their best interest to offer TGC to their customers IMO.

It was bubba22 and I who first brought TGC to their attention. Bubba22 took it a step further and got somebody from HB to contact ProTee. This was last Winter.

Ok, thanks. I may try contacting HB as well. I know it wouldn't be an overnight process, but it seems like it would be beneficial for all parties involved.

Don't do that. ProTee has exclusive rights. You need to put pressure on Optishot. ProTee is already willing.
