  • Offset and new player

I'm looking at trying to implement a lh/rh set up with a gc2 and custom design golf's position track rotating slider. My question is since new players can't be saved would I have to set up camera offsets every time I add a new player that is lh as well as my own profile rh offset or would mine default to the rh camara offset. Also, do you think 18' wide would accommodate this? I've mulled over a second gc2 and fsx and selling my hmt to fund this, but I'm not ready to let tgc go yet.

18 feet is plenty wide to do that. If you’re talking about TGC the offset is set once so you’re stuck there. I’m not 1000% on that but there’s no settings in player settings for offset so I’m pretty sure.

IMO, with GC2’s being reasonably priced, if LvsR is a big issue you should consider 2 GC2’s and a software that supports that. It’s a lot of money but if you can afford it its the best solution for switching. I hate when a left handed friend comes over. Such a pain. My club has 2 2 GC2 set ups and it’s amazing for LvsR.

I can't help OP with your question but that custom rotating slider sounds so interesting. Please share some pictures if you don't mind.

Lots of information on the website. meidww40

Thanks mthunt . Your club has them spread apart and not side by side correct ? I'm thinking side by side would limit the offset amount, so I'm mulling going that route. I'll keep my tgc for my personal use and trade my fr1 for fsx I suppose. I hope I win the lottery, this is going to hurt.

Sweet setup. I asked about the gchawk but they aren't delivering yet. I'd like to see some reviews first before I become the guinea pig. I picked up my gc2 and hmt fairly cheap, a second one will be cheaper option anyway.
