I was looking on TGC for local courses last night and found two that are in my town. It only says designed by TGC member. They did a real nice job on them but only did the front 9 on both.
The Bluff's which is actually Bluff Point is the third oldest course in the country originally designed by Albert W. Tillinghast who incidentally also design Bethpage Black.
The other called The Barracks was the course located on the former Plattsburgh Airforce base (Former SAC base). This one must have been designed off the course during that time period as it has some of the features that were on the course back then but no longer there with the subsequent redesign. Shortly after the base closed it turned to a public and progressed into an 18 hole course.
These are both fun courses to play with some rich history around them I would love to see them finished. I played The Barracks twice last night it plays very well on the Sim. I did not find any glitches or issues. I plan to play Bluff Point tonight or tomorrow night.
Would love to have whoever did the original work finish these is there anyway to find who did them and get contact info?
