I have been playing The golf club for for about 3 years. For the first time I changed the boost setting from 0 to 5 for the driver and the rest of the clubs. I was expecting about a 5% increase in distance. I am getting more like a 10 to 15% increase in distance. Anyone have a similar experience or can explain?

Question here, I don't hit real balls with driver outside (noise and afraid I might launch one over the net). If I used foam balls and just 50x the carry adjustments, I'm assuming that will work. Probably frowned upon but would work right?

You aren't allowed to do that in tournaments, but you can do whatever you want when you are playing. The problem I have seen with at least some of the foam balls is the spin rate can be quite different than a real ball. So even though you can boost the ball speed, the flight can still be a little weird. As an example, I don't much backspin with a driver using Almost Golf Balls, so boosted drives still fall out of the air rather quickly. If you boost even more to compensate, then you will get a ton of roll.

To get TGC to register within a few yards of my GC2 on the driver I've had to keep gsx at a +2..... irons at 0....and wedges at -1 ....and even still depending upon the spin rate of the driver for each individual shot there is anything from a 2 yard to a 12 yard discrepancy in both directions. A common one for me is if I hit the driver GC2 carry 272--tgc will only carry me 263. But conversely if I miss hit it a bit and only GC2 carry 264ish--TGC will carry it 275ish .... ??? But when I really get a hold of one and gsx carry 283ish it will TGC right on the money 283y....Go figure.
Irons at 0 can be anything from spot on to + or - 4 yards....wedges tho seem to be dialed to within a yard + or - . I don't know but I've tinkered with gsx all I care to fool with it at this point...I leave the settings the way I've got them and just deal with it.
