TGC Settings

This question mainly refers to the current TGC but might relate TGC 2019 as well. When I am playing a "Tour Event" like this week at Torrey Pines. Do my personal settings of TGC green speed and fairway firmness matter? If you have yours set to slow and firm and I have mine fast and soft, do we play different conditions on the tour?

I think they're locked in by Protee for a Tour event

Not sure then because I thought you used your own green and stimp settings.

For TGC, my understanding is your personal preferences still take effect.

I thought I read somewhere ProTee is able to override this with the course / their own settings, but just doesn't for TGC? I might be confusing this with TGC 2019.

I don’t have a lot of experience but this week, I had no gimmies in personal setting and first hole I had to putt out. Exit the game, changed setting to 2 yards and restarted the game?!

Recently upgraded to tgc 2019 for my Skytrak. How do I navigate into the TGC Tour Events??? Please help I want to play!!!

As of now the only events are "Society" events that individuals are setting up. However, there are a few match play events that are ongoing...you can find some of that info on this forum and on Discord. In the fall I believe the TGC 2019 Tour will begin
