  • How to remove Q and E icons

I was able to remove club info in the top right hand corner of screens but how can I remove the Q, E, etc prompts in the lower right corner?
and when will we be able to remove "ready to swing"
    Why is that even there....
right in the middle of screen... Makes no sense to me.

So im assuming by the lack of responses that the Q and E icons in the lower right hand corner of the screen cannot be removed. Is that correct?

The lack of response probably means no one cares about tgc1 anymore.

Use tgc2019, currently you can remove everything except "ready for swing".

            You posted in tgc1 section.

Anyway in tgc2019 there's a menu item where you found all the other ones. I've got all mine set to "fade away"

At this point I actually mostly prefer TGC over 2019.
The weird first hop on a low shot, the console type "your levels" and "your money" stuff, slow to load and reset, search for courses is more complicated and I personally think a ball with plenty of backspin not checking up on the green in irritating as hell. The Q and E keys don't seem to work as well in 2019. The "C" for removing the flag doesn't work. Etc.

There are other features in 2019 that are a GREAT improvement, but I wish they'd straighten out the current issues. Both are still wonderful programs, but 2019 could use a bit of tidying up IMO.

What's mainly frustrating is Protee won't even acknowledge these issues or give us road-map for improvements. Why the silence?

                "why the silence?"
ProTee seems to devote a lot of their energy doing the "tournament" stuff, which is fine for those that enjoy that. I would be VERY curious about the number of people who compete in their tournaments compared to the total number of people who bought their sim product.
Perhaps the tournament is big on console but I'd be willing to bet the number of tourney guys is far outnumbered by people using it to practice or have fun with friends in the sim version.
I could be completely wrong but it wold be interesting to see the numbers.

trhuke... ive been away from my sim due to summer heat (sim in my barn), so I only have a few rounds with TGC 19, but I agree with your assessment. 9 irons with 8-9000 spin don't hold greens which is ridiculous. I hit a 6 iron last night (granted from a slightly elevated position) 172yds which subsequently ran out to 196 yards! There also seems to be no punishment hitting out of the rough and certainly not out of greenside bunker.
My 2 main complaints may seem trivial but have diminished the enjoyment of the game:
              1) "ready to swing" has got to be removed or moved to above the mini map. You can remove the wind gauge but not ready to swing which is right in the middle of this beautiful course someone created.. makes no sense.
              2) the fact that the announcer basically predetermines what the outcome will be before the ball lands.."probably will not hold the green" and of course it doesn't... takes the anticipation out of the game. Kinda like the dreaded announcer "just a moment ago" on the pga tour and of course the guy drains a 60 footer or holes out. Let the game play out then he can comment..kills the excitement of the unknown

You may need to update your version, the greenside bunker was fixed.

I heard the announcer once and thought "WTF???" and immediately found a way to turn it off. I'm just trying to work on my game and have some fun, I don't need to pretend like I'm a professional golfer. Sheesh.
