  • Playing locally with other golfers... question.

When playing with friends, alternating by shot is a pain and takes forever. Lots of getting up and down and out of the way for next guy to be able to go. Imo, rounds would go much quicker if a golfer could play a hole the entire way through and then the next guy go... or to be able to play a couple holes, like 3 of them in a row, and then the next guy go and he plays those same holes. Anyone have any ideas if tgc2019 can do anything like this or of there an easy way to skip holes, and be able to manually do this to make it easier to do? Dont care about scores in system, would be ok doing it and writing down our scores, just cant seem to find a way to easily skip holes, like pulling up a score card for a course and clicking on the hole we want to start at, maybe something akin to a practice mode where you are able to jump around hole by hole.

That would be good but will likely never happen. Making that kind of change in the core of the software is tough.

I completely agree. I am not aware of any software that allows for that approach.

You would probably need to just have one player in the game and then play several rounds. If you had two players you could alternate holes so player 1 plays even and player 2 plays odd. Then the second round switch. After the second round everyone will have played all 18. You still need to write down scores though.

          That’s a good work around
